Kindergarten Helpers

Arthur is one of the longest-running and most critically acclaimed kids’ TV shows. Aimed at children ages 4-8, and broadcast in more than 80 countries, Arthur is known for its educational value, presenting valuable lessons and complex issues in age-appropriate ways.

Kindergarten Helpers features friends in a kindergarten classroom that need help making a choice about what items to play with. Players listen to character preferences and match them with the item or friend they would like best. This game was created in collaboration with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to test preschool students’ readiness for kindergarten.

Areas of Focus

My areas of focus included creating various visual components in the style of the Arthur brand, working closely with producers and developers on wireframes and overall game structure, and establishing visual libraries to allow for character customization.
